‘Matsumoto Seichō Drama Special: “The Chapter of the Mountain Pass”’. Broadcast on 29 January 2010 from 21:00 to 22:52 as part of the ‘Friday Prestige’ slot on the Fuji TV network. Set in Nagano Prefecture, the drama was filmed on location in Karuizawa. As in the original novel, the plot revolves around drug smuggling.
